French shipyard OCEA has revealed the first details of a new all-aluminium explorer yacht concept, the Nemo 50 Ice.
Designed by Fulvio de Simoni, this motor yacht has a length overall of 50m, a maximum beam of 9.13m and a draught of 2.30m.
Thanks to an internal volume of 499GT, the Nemo 50 Ice can accommodate up to 10 guests in five spacious staterooms: a full-beam owner’s suite with private office located forward on the main deck, and two twin guest cabins and two doubles amidships on the lower deck.
Situated in the bow, the crew quarters include a laundry, a galley, a mess and five cabins; whilst the captain’s stateroom is on the bridge deck, adjacent to the wheelhouse.
Among her amenities, the yacht features: a wet bar, an alfresco dining area and an outdoor lounge on the sundeck; a sunbathing area and a skylounge on the upper deck; and a large saloon and space for a 10m fishing boat and for a 7m sailing boat on the main deck.
Powered by two Cat C32 1,450bhp diesel engines, the Nemo 50 Ice has a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots and, thanks to a fuel capacity of 70,000 litres, a range of 5,000nm at 10 knots.
