Dutch shipyard Van der Valk has received an order for a new all-aluminium explorer yacht, currently known as Hull WV0122.
Designed by Guido de Groot Design in collaboration with Ginton Naval Architects and Diana Yacht Design, responsible for the naval architecture, this fast displacement yacht will have a length overall of 28.50m, a maximum beam of 7.20m and a draught of 1.80m.
Scheduled to be delivered in Spring 2020, she will be able to accommodate up to 10 guests in five spacious cabins, including a large owner’s suite located forward on the main deck and two VIP staterooms amidships on the lower deck.
Situated aft of the engine room, the crew quarters will include a captain’s stateroom, a triple cabin, a galley and a dinette.
Among her amenities, this explorer yacht will feature: a Jacuzzi, an alfresco dining area, an outdoor lounge and a wet bar on the flybridge; a large saloon and dining area on the main deck; and a beach club and a sauna on the lower deck.
Powered by two MAN V12-1650 1,213kW diesel engines, Hull WV0122 will have a maximum speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots.
