Italian shipyard Tankoa Yachts has today announced the launch of its second superyacht, the S501 Vertige.
49.90m long and 9.40m wide, this motor yacht features exterior lines designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, which was also responsible, along with Margherita Casprini, for the interior styling. The naval architecture was developed by Vincenzo Ruggiero.
Thanks to an internal volume of 499GT, the vessel offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 cabins, consisting of a master’s suite and a full-beam owner’s suite with fold-down balconies located on the main deck, as well as two VIP staterooms and two guest cabins on the lower deck.
Among the amenities of this superyacht are: a large sun lounging area, with two 3m long fold-down terraces, located aft on the main deck; a spacious skylounge, sheltered al fresco dining area, and outdoor sitting area for 20 people on the upper deck; a large flybridge with bar, U-shaped sofa and comfortable sunpads; as well as a gym/beach club and garage for a 7m tender aft on the lower deck.
Entirely built in 5083 aluminium alloy and powered by two MTU 8V 4000 53R 746kW diesel engines, Vertige has a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising range of 5,000nm at 12 knots.
Sold in February 2015, she is expected to be delivered to her French owner in early April.
