South African shipyard Southern Wind has announced the launch of the second sailing yacht in its SW96 series, christened Seatius by her owner.
Scheduled to be delivered next month, this 58.5t yacht has a length overall of 31.41m, a maximum beam of 6.95m and a draught of 3.40-5.50m.
Designed by Nauta Design in collaboration with Farr Yacht Design, which was responsible for the naval architecture, she features a sleek profile and a contemporary interior.
Sistership to Sorceress, Seatius can accommodate up to 6 guests in three spacious staterooms located amidships and forward on the lower deck: a large owner’s suite and two twin guest cabins.
Situated aft and adjacent to the engine room, which houses a Steyr SE286E40, the crew quarters include a double captain’s stateroom, a twin cabin with bunk beds, a galley and a dinette.
