South African shipyard Southern Wind has just announced the launch of the first SW105 RS sailing yacht.

Southern Wind - SW105 RS sailing yacht Satisfaction

Christened Satisfaction, this 34.59m vessel features sleek exterior lines and cosy interiors designed by Nauta Design, whilst Farr Yacht Design was responsible for the naval architecture.

Her interior layout includes an owner’s suite situated forward, a large saloon and three guest staterooms with en-suite bathrooms amidships, and crew quarters for 5, a well-equipped galley and a spacious garage, capable of housing a 4.2m tender and a 3m jet ski, aft.

Among the race-oriented features of this cruiser-racer are a lightship displacement of 69,500kg, a lifting keel that increases the draught from 3.65m to 5.6m, and a twin-rudder configuration.

Satisfaction is expected to be delivered in December.
