Moonen Shipyards joins hull and superstructure of the first Martinique motor yacht

Moonen Shipyards has successfully joined the high-tensile steel hull and aluminium superstructure of the second motor yacht in its Caribbean line, the Martinique.

This 3-deck yacht, which has a length of 36.30m and a beam of 8m, features exterior lines designed by René Van der Velden Design, interiors by Nauta Design, and a semi-displacement hull developed by Diana Yacht Design.

The Martinique offers accommodation for up to 10/12 guests in five cabins, consisting of a panoramic owner’s suite located forward on the main deck, and two VIP staterooms and two guest cabins on the lower deck.

On this latter deck are also situated three crew cabins for 5-6, whilst the captain’s stateroom is on the upper deck behind the wheelhouse. A garage in the lazarette can house a 5.5m tender.

Powered by two Cat C32 ACERT 1,417kW diesel engines, the yacht has a maximum speed of 17 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of 3,500nm at 10 knots.

The first Martinique motor yacht is expected to be available for delivery in Spring 2018.
