Moonen announces launch of a new 36.30m steel and aluminium motor yacht, Brigadoon

Dutch shipyard Moonen has announced the launch of the first motor yacht in its Martinique series, Brigadoon.

Sold in April, this yacht features a masculine profile designed by René Van der Velden Design, a contemporary interior created by Nauta Design and a fast displacement hull developed by Diana Yacht Design.

Brigadoon has a length overall of 36.30m, a maximum beam of 8m and a draught of 2.10m.

Thanks to an internal volume of 350GT, she can accommodate up to 10 guests in five spacious staterooms: an owner’s suite located forward on the main deck, and two twin guest cabins and two doubles amidships on the lower deck.

Situated in the bow, the crew quarters include three cabins with bunk beds and en-suite heads, a laundry, a galley and a dinette; whilst the captain’s stateroom is on the bridge deck, adjacent to the wheelhouse.

Powered by two Cat C32 ACERT 1,925bhp diesel engines, this steel and aluminium yacht has a maximum speed of 16.5 knots, a cruising speed of 14.5 knots and, thanks to a fuel capacity of 35,000 litres, a range of 3,900nm at 10 knots.

Brigadoon will be showcased at the 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival and MYS.
