Dutch shipyard Lynx Yachts has today announced the sale of the second YXT 24. Sold to an American client who loves water sports, she is expected to be delivered in Summer 2018.
Originally conceived as a support vessel to accompany the mothership, supplying additional storage and carrying large tenders and toys, the YXT 24 is also a reliable and rugged yacht.
What makes the second unit of this 26.30m model particularly special is her strength as a platform for sport, exploration and adventure.
The stern of the yacht will feature full-beam teak steps, creating almost a mini viewing arena, where guests can sit and watch each other surfing or doing tricks in the wake.
With a spacious lazarette accessible from the swim platform and 75m2 of deck space, the yacht will have plenty of room for the storage of equipment, tenders and toys, including the owner’s personal Land Rover Defender.
Designed by Darnet Design, the interior of this YXT 24 motor yacht will include a spacious owner’s stateroom with en-suite bathroom, as well as accommodation for four crew members in two double cabins.
“It has been a pleasure to work with this client,” says Filippo Rossi, Sales and Marketing Manager at Lynx Yachts. “His passion for yachting and for the sea is infectious. He knows exactly how he wants to use his YXT and this has helped us to adapt the vessel for him. At Lynx Yachts, we are committed to detail and quality. Everything we do is centred on the user experience, meaning that this will be a fantastic yacht, completely tailor-made to suit the needs and wishes of this client. We are really proud of this project; it shows the true flexibility of the YXT platform and the levels of customisation we can achieve.”
