Taiwanese shipyard Horizon Yachts has announced the launch of the sixth motor yacht in its FD85 series, christened Julind by her owner.
Designed by Cor D. Rover Design in collaboration with the yard’s in-house team of naval architects, this fast-displacement yacht has a length overall of 26.07m, a maximum beam of 7.07m and a draught of 1.75m.
In its standard layout, the FD85 can accommodate up to 10 guests in five spacious staterooms: a large owner’s suite located forward on the main deck, and a twin guest cabin and three doubles on the lower deck. The crew quarters are situated aft of the engine room and include two cabins, a dinette and a bathroom.
Equipped with two MAN V8-1200 882kW diesel engines, Julind has a maximum speed of 16.6 knots and, thanks to a fuel capacity of 13,170 litres, a range of 1,680nm at 10 knots.
