US shipyard Burger Boat Company has announced the launch of a new explorer yacht, christened Northland by her owner.
Built in steel and aluminium, this yacht has a length overall of 31.55m, a maximum beam of 8.05m and a draught of 2.45m.
Designed inside and out by Luiz de Basto, Northland features masculine exterior lines and a contemporary interior décor.
She can accommodate up to 8 guests in four spacious cabins: a large owner’s suite located aft on the upper deck and three guest staterooms amidships on the lower deck.
The crew quarters are situated in the bow and include two cabins with en-suite heads, a lounge and a laundry.
Among her amenities, Northland counts: a Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads, a wet bar and an alfresco dining area on the sundeck; a tender storage area on the foredeck; and an outdoor seating area, a saloon, a dining area and a large library on the main deck.
Equipped with two Cat C18 ACERT 475mhp diesel engines, this full-displacement motor yacht has a maximum speed of 12.4 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and, thanks to a fuel capacity of 37,059 litres, a range of approximately 4,000nm at 9.5 knots.
