Italian shipyard Benetti has successfully joined the steel hull and aluminium superstructure of the 70m superyacht Alkhor.
Also known as Hull FB273, this 6-deck vessel features masculine exterior lines designed by the yard’s in-house design team, which was also responsible for the naval architecture.
Once delivered, Alkhor will be able to accommodate up to 14 guests in seven staterooms, including a large owner’s suite located on the upper deck, as well as 12 crew members in nine cabins.
Among the features of the yacht will be: a Jacuzzi on the sky deck, an alfresco dining area on the sun deck, a gym and a home theatre on the upper deck, a swimming pool situated aft on the main deck, a large saloon and dining area, and extensive sunbathing areas.
Powered by two Cat 3512 HD 1,765kW diesel engines, Alkhor will have a maximum speed of 16 knots and, thanks to a fuel capacity of 115,000 litres, a cruising range of 5,000nm at 12 knots.
The motor yacht is expected to be launched in Summer 2019.
