Heesen Yachts has today unveiled its latest superyacht project, the 49.90m Maia.

Engineered by Heesen’s in-house team of naval architects, the yacht features a sleek and elegant exterior profile designed by Clifford Denn, and interiors by Reymond Langton Design, which was also responsible for the interior design of the 50m Heesen motor yacht Ann G.

Project Maia will offer accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 cabins, consisting of a full-beam owner’s suite located forward on the main deck, and three double staterooms and a twin cabin on the lower deck.

Equipped with two MTU 8V 4000 M63 1,000kW diesel engines, this full-displacement motor yacht will have a maximum speed of 15 knots, and a range of 3,800nm at a cruising speed of 12 knots.

Currently under construction at the Dutch shipyard, she will be ready for hand-over in 2018.
