Hakvoort Shipyard has recently launched a new steel and aluminium motor yacht at its facility in Monnickendam, the Netherlands. Christened Soprano, she has a length of 38.25m and a beam of 8m.
This 4-deck yacht features classic exterior lines designed by Diana Yacht Design, which was also responsible for the naval architecture, and interiors by Felix Buytendijk Yacht Design.
Soprano offers accommodation for up to 9 guests in four cabins, consisting of a full-beam VIP stateroom and two double guest cabins located on the lower deck, as well as a full-beam owner’s suite aft on the main deck.
On the lower deck are also situated three cabins for 6 crew members, whilst the captain’s stateroom is on the upper deck, aft of the wheelhouse. This latter deck also houses the main tender, while a Laser sailing boat and the MOB can be stored on the foredeck.
Among the amenities of the vessel are: a fold-down swim platform, a spacious salon located aft on the main deck, an al fresco dining area and a gaming table situated on the upper deck, as well as a large sundeck with sunbathing area, Jacuzzi and bar.
Powered by two Caterpillar C18 DITA, Soprano has a maximum speed of 13 knots, a cruising speed of 11 knots, and a range of 5,000nm.
